Being new to the clan, I am ignorant of the training regimen in place.
However, I have been assigned as "Training Officer" in previous clans.
The Premise of such a role is that those readying for a CW battle (inc "Commander"), pitch their tactics against a commander in training and those who may not be "Clan Wars Ready". Ideally these training sessions are 15 V 15 with each team in their own TS channel.
Post training debrief gives all the opportunity to provide constructive feed-back.
Now, some see such exercises as "Ego reinforcement" for the CW ready, as they "Surely" will walk all up and down their opponent's asses. However, a lower tier opponent team is 'factored in' to the exercise's results.
E.G., CW Commander moves his team on a certain flank, but any counter-move by his opponent is considered as though that move was completed by tier X vehicles and or tier 8 artillery.
This is accomplished by assigning a 'referee' on each team to evaluate the effectiveness of each session.
As such, this is merely a suggestion for our training effort with the caveat that as previously mentioned, I am ignorant of current procedures within DPS.
As we are drawing nearer to the re-start of Clan Wars on the NA server, will we commence training sessions to cement the participants soon?
Cheers

We did try to gather a company battle saturday 2/9 with no luck putting together a full team. One of the reasons I have been stressing the importance to download teamspeak in clan chat.
We will surely be behind the 8ball once clanwars begin on monday, with the hopes that members see that it has begun again. I do think the first week of clanwars will be a test to see who shows up and is available to participate.
We do and will begin training again but have not had training in some time. Also having alot of new members this is somethign we must schedule and get the ball rolling on.
We will be discussing this and have some sort of schedule in place for such activities

There is one problem that we have had in the past and it is not easily resolved unless all members are dedicated to the clan, get on teamspeak, and read the forum as often as possible.
Training would be arranged and only a small number of clan members would turn up for the training.
We need to get training up and running, find out what problems we have if any...... and resolve asap.

I believe training would also help in sorting out unruly players and barrack-room lawyers who are keen to venture opinions but not put their money where there Mouths are!
